Sola has a Bachelor of Arts from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria, and a Master of Business Administration from the Aberdeen Business School. She has participated in leadership programs at Harvard Business School and Cambridge Judge Business School and is a fellow of the Chartered Management Institute UK, a member of the Board of Trustees for the Institute of International Banking USA, and a member of the Sub-Saharan Africa Advisory Committee of the U.S. Export-Import Bank.
